My school

My new school is beautiful!
It's situated in the city center. It's very big. In this school there are about twenty classrooms.
It's got lots of good facilities: really modern classrooms with computers, language laboratories, a massive gym.
In my classroom there are 18 students. They are very friendly. Ylenia sits nex to me, she's 13 years old and she's from Mondragone.
My teachers aren't bad. Miss La Torre is my English teacher. She's really cool. She's tall and thin.

Well, this is my new school and I love it. Bye for now!!

The origins of my name

Anna is a Latin form of the Greek name "Avva and the Hebrew name Hannah". Anna is in wide use in countries across the world as are variants Anne, originally a French version of the name, though in use in English speaking countries for hundreds of years, and Ann, which was originally the English spelling. Saint Anne was traditionally the name of the mother of the Virgin Maria, which accounts for it is wide use and popularity among the Christians. The name has also been used for numerous saints and queens.
